Tiffany Elliott
Marriage and Family Therapy Intern
I am an advanced Marriage and Family Therapy Intern with a focus on helping individuals and couples create healthier relationships. My clients include those who have experienced early relational trauma and now find themselves with wounds and scars in need of healing, couples stuck in hurtful patterns that need change, and those needing support to leave. I provide individual, family, couples and marriage counseling.
I’m flexible and tailor our space to understand and meet your unique needs, as there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Models I connect with are Attachment based, Solution-Focused Therapy, Gottman, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.
Better understanding ourselves provides the most impact for our own personal journey and our participation in the relational systems we find ourselves in – our families of origin, marriage, cultural and generational legacies – allows us to better explore, discover, learn, relate, emote, repair, heal and cope through the seasons of our lives – alone and with others. Our work will include focus on communication, conflict resolution, attachment patterns, self-care and healthy boundary setting, clarity of issues and desired goals.
My lived experience includes a 25-year rewarding career in human resources management with Fortune 500 and Start Up companies. The last decade my primary focus was organizational leadership development coaching with individuals, teams and organizations, expanding leadership competencies to take on greater scope of responsibilities, projects and changes where character and virtue are vitally important.
I was drawn to explore the work of healing couples and families and psychotherapy as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and in-law. I believe it’s never too late, nor too soon, to focus on changing, creating, healing, repairing, forgiving or reconciling with one another or for sharing more hope, love, kindness, peace and joy as a legacy of more securely attached children, marriages and families.
